George Rice, the founder and Senior Partner at BIZJETCPA is pleased to announce Joe Park, CPA has been promoted to partner in the firm. BIZJETCPA is the leading West Coast firm of Certified Public Accountants offering its services exclusively to the business aviation community. Growth of the practice has more recently included increased demand from international clients in potential aircraft ownership.
Joe Park joined BIZJETCPA in 2017 and has very quickly proven his value to the firm by through his extensive background and knowledge of federal tax. Prior to joining BIZJETCPA, Joe Park worked for five years with Grant Thornton LLP, an international accounting firm, for five years where he earned his CPA certificate. Joe gained significant experience in federal and state tax compliance for both separate and consolidated corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships. He has continued such growth with us.
Joe graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. then earned a Master of Science in Accountancy from California State University, Fullerton. While at Cal-State Fullerton, Joe received the Medal of Excellence, from the Mihaylo School of Business and Economics. The Medal of Excellence is awarded to the top master’s candidate.
In his free time, Joe enjoys tennis and golf and cheering on his favorite professional sports teams.
Founded by George Rice in 1993, BIZJETCPA has expanded rapidly and now provides services to clients across the 50 states and several foreign countries. In order to accommodate growth, in 2017 the company relocated its offices to 3200 Park Center Drive, Suite 550, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. BIZJETCPA is a member of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the National Aircraft Finance Association, the SoCal Aviation Association, AOPA, and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
George Rice has served as a member of the NBAA Tax Committee in various capacities for 10 years.
