This post includes two case studies of the effects of promotion –
One on a new website, the other on an existing site. Both had a substantial improvement in the number of new visitors.
I have two websites that I use as guinea pigs for new methods that I learn. One is a newly-established site that I have not promoted before, the other is an established site that gets weekly cyclical traffic.
Here’s what happened when I started seriously promoting both:
Aviation Business Consultants (this site- www.AviationBusinessConsultants.com)
Ravenwerks Global Ethics, Etiquette and Effectiveness (www.Ravenwerks.com)
If you’re familiar with Google Analytics, you can see that the blue line is the most recent 30 days and the green line is the 30 days prior to that.
You’ll notice a pretty remarkable improvement to both sites beginning around the end of February. Most Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques take longer to work, but some initial improvement is visible.
If you need more traffic to your web site, especially if your company is in the aviation industry, I can get results like these for your web site, as well. Give me a call or drop me a note for a consultation and proposal.

What RSS reader are you using? The little orange button in the very top right of th browser should work with nearly any standard RSS reader. . .
