When I was in high school, I was a nerd. I was laser-focused on my goals, and obsessed with outperforming my older brother.
My goal (which I never actually achieved, thanks Kevin!) was to be the smartest person in the room.
He was two years ahead and had an unnaturally high IQ. He was a National Merit Scholar with ridiculous SAT scores. Everything came easy to him. Teachers found out I was his little sister and had huge expectations. I had to grind for every A. (And some of the Bs!)
So, I grew up believing success was all about individual performance.
Head down.
Do your work.
Don’t rely on anyone else.
But you know what?
That mindset only gets you so far.
The most successful people I know today are not just brilliant—they’re engaged and curious about others. They ask questions. They offer help. They collaborate.
That’s what our Group Office Hours are all about.
It’s a space for aviation professionals to:
✈️ Solve real, tactical problems (on the spot!)
✈️ See what others are asking and doing (which often sparks great ideas)
✈️ Realize you’re not alone (and you’re not the only one figuring it out as you go)
Even better—some of our best client partnerships started in these calls:
🎙️ Guesting on each other’s podcasts
✍️ Guest posting on each other’s websites
🤝 Referring clients who are a perfect fit
If you’re used to doing things solo—like I was—you might be surprised at how much farther you can go with a smart, supportive group.
We have Office Hours three times a month – two during North American business hours, and once (hosted by the amazing Muhammad Ali Memon) during Asian business hours.
