Everybody wants to know strategy, even though we tell them that sales and marketing success is 80% mindset and only 20% strategy.
And the most common reason we turn clients down is because of their mindset – they want all of their marketing and sales simply “done for them” or they don’t want to talk to actual customers, or their product is inferior and they don’t care enough to improve it, or they don’t care about our industry and the people in it.
Some people are only in business to make a quick buck or punch a clock and take orders and hide behind a website. That sort of thing is absolutely NOT okay in the aviation industry.
If you don’t have a strong “why,” you’re in the WRONG industry! People don’t get into aviation because it’s easy. They get in because they’re passionate about it! That’s also why they succeed.
